- You need 1 package of defrosted filo pastry.
- You need 500 g of ground beef.
- It's 500 g of pasatta sauce.
- You need 1 of medium onion finely diced.
- Prepare 1 tsp of garlic powder.
- You need 2 tsp of paprika powder.
- You need 11/2 tsp of dried oregano.
- You need 3 tsp of cayanne pepper.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of hot chilli powder(or to ur own tastes).
- Prepare to taste of salt and pepper.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of melted butter for filo triangles.
Spicy beef triangles step by step
- Brown beef and onion, drain any fat.
- Add spices passata and herbs mix well.
- Defrost filo pastry as instructed.
- Cook beef mixture for 15 mintues to thicken sauce careful not to burn it, check seasoning then allow to cool totally.
- Slice pastry in half to create 14 strips add heap tbsp of beef mixture to the lower corner and fold to over to the opposite corner.
- Fold the bottom right corner to the upper left corner.
- Fold the bottom left corner over to the to the top right corner completing the fold.
- Continue until u reach the end coat pastry with melted butter close over and brush top with butter place on a baking sheet put in 180C/350F for 10 miuntes or until browned and crispy.
